All these auction places sell names for thousands of dollars and the names are crap. Sedo.com for example charges $40 to list a domain that does not get any offers. And, if you ever check the site, you will see domains that are awful that sell for thousands of dollars(ex. obxbyowner.com sold for $1,250, Zoost.com for $25,500, performanceChips.com $40,000, WellThen.com for $13,000, yummymummy for over $3,000 and so on.
